Abstract
Audio is everywhere from voice assistants to music apps yet many developers underestimate how accessible audio programming is with Python. In this talk, we’ll explore the fundamentals of digital audio and see how Python makes it easy to manipulate sound in a clean, Pythonic way. We’ll cover key concepts such as sampling, waveforms, and signal processing in a beginner-friendly way while showing practical applications. Attendees will also see a live demonstration of a simple voice transformation tool that applies effects like pitch shifting and echo, illustrating how Python can process and transform audio efficiently. By the end, participants will feel confident experimenting with audio in Python and inspired to build their own projects.
