- PyCon Africa accepts Visa, MasterCard and some mobile payments. Payment is required in order to register online.
- Registrants should pick up their badges onsite at the Conference Registration desk.

Late-Entry Rate: Closer to the conference, we will switch to late-entry ticket rates if tickets are still available. These will cost around 40% more than the standard rate.
Please note: Admission to the tutorials/workshops is included in the conference ticket price, although prior registration is required as seats are limited per tutorial/workshop. Getting your conference ticket early allows you to secure your spot ahead.
What does your ticket cover
- Access throughout the 5-day conference to attend talks & tutorials by industry experts, and participate in dev sprints.
- Opportunity to interact with industry partners at their booths, network with experts, and collaborate on projects.
- A conference swag bag with goodies and stickers
- Breakfast, Lunch and Coffee break snacks for 5 days.
- and lots more!
All tickets are highly subsidized
It's worth noting that even the full Standard rate is less than the cost per person for the duration of the conference (5 days).
In other words, a full-rate ticket is sold for less than it costs us to have an attendee at the conference - even at the highest rate, you are literally getting more than you have paid for.
The difference is made up by the generous sponsorship we rely on.
Ticket Categories
We have the following four categories of ticket prices for the conference tickets - 5 days of various activities such as talks, workshops/tutorials, sprints, and lots more goodies, including swags, feeding, and so on.
Corporate/Business ticket: if your employer is paying for it
Individual/Personal ticket: if you are paying from your own funds
Student ticket: if you are a student/not employed
Sharing ticket: This is a special ticket for members of the community who would like to pay for a fellow Pythonista to attend the conference, who would otherwise not have been able to.
